Berry Tree
This interactive tap essay is an adaptation of Uncle Greg’s story "Berry Tree", which incorporates texts and images as well as sound effects to give a sense of narration and engagement through interactive media. The interactive design was achieved by using p5js and experimenting with the codes. This creative coding utilised digital illustrations creating engaging visuals and typographic hierarchy.
Acknowledgement
I acknowledge these are the stories of Uncle Greg Simms, an Aboriginal Elder who grew up in La Perouse. This the land of the Gadigal people of the Darug nation. He is a Knowledge Holder of these lands as a Gadigal, Darug, Gundungurra, Yuin man.
